Image in ink frame 10.2 x 21.6 cm. Watermark u.l. on sheet may be part of a shield with fleur-de-lys.

Drawn by Austin Cooper when he was touring the province of Munster in the summer of 1781 [possibly gathering money from area tax collectors, or working as a Paymaster to the Civil and Military Establishments?]. According to Austin Cooper in his diary for 20th June, 1781 (NLI Ms. Acc. 4841, Cashel 1781): 'In 1795 the small remains of this Abbey was completely removed, & on the Scite [sic] a Popish Chapel built'
