Drawn by Austin Cooper perhaps when he was touring the country gathering money from area tax collectors, or a Paymaster to the Civil and Military Establishments. In a passage from his diary for May 19th, 1781 (NLI Ms. Acc. 4841 Cashel 1781 and also in Liam Price's book, pages 33-34) Cooper gives a long description of the Abbey, using various letters to indicate parts of the building which are repeated on the accompanying plan. A detail of the vaulting beneath the tower can be seen on the following page(2122 TX (1) 10)

Physical description: 1 drawing image 10.3 x 16.6 cm., on sheet 18.1 x 26.5 cm.
