Summary:Report of Lying-in Hospital [now known as the Rotunda Hospital] charity accounts for the year 1801 with observations and calling on individuals for small contributions to increase the funds of the charity - "Every person subscribing one guinea will be entitled to recommend one patient in the course of the year, and so in proportion ... The trustees having exhausted every effort in their power to arrest the attention of the public ... they advertised the Rotunda and rooms to be let, and hope the change may prove of material advantage to the institutions, and the inhabitants of Dublin". With reference to a "Fourth Assembly" to be held on Tuesday the 15th [no month given] to be attended by the Lord Lieutenant and his wife. Addressed on verso to "Jer. D'Olier, Esq., Mountjoy Square". Last two pages blank.
