Summary:Statement of the annual expense to which forty eight tenements surrounding the Lying-in-Hospital gardens are subject - "To render this establishment permanent, it has been thought advisable to make the governors of the Lying-in-Hospital (a body corporate) responsible for the collection and expenditure of the several sums; it is hoped the payments will be regular". The names of the forty-eight are listed - amongst them are the Earl of Charlemont, the Earl of Longford, Earl Norbury and the Vicountess Mountjoy. These gardens were lcoated where the Garden of Remembrance is now located.
