Notes: | From: Antiquities of Abbeys, Castles & c. & c. in Ireland, Vol. II This copy of Angelo Maria Bigari's original is very close to the original by Gabriel Beranger which is preserved in this collection as 2122 TX (62). Both originals were executed on the same day so it could be presumed that the two of them were travelling together. The only difference between the originals is that this one by Bigari is a close-up of the subject. The J.S. Cooper who signed his name to the drawing could be Jonathon Sisson Cooper (ca.1777-1850), a nephew of Austin Cooper Title inscribed in ink l.c. on sheet Watermark u.l. on sheet is part of a shield with fleur-de-lys Physical description: 1 drawing image 16.1 x 23.8 cm., on sheet 18.3 x 26.7 cm.
