Notes: | From: Antiquities of Abbeys, Castles & c. & c. in Ireland, Vol. II Grose's Antiquities, Vol. I states that the original of this drawing by Angelo Maria Bigari was in the possession of the Rt. Hon. William Conyngham (1733-1796), who presumably lent it to Turner to copy. The original drawing by Bigari was engraved and published by M. Hooper in London on January 20th, 1794, at around the time it must have appeared in Grose's Antiquities Image within an ink frame 23.5 x 15.5 cm. Watermark u.r. on sheet apppears to consist of a shield Title inscribed in ink l.c. on sheet under image Physical description: 1 drawing image 23.1 x 15.1 cm., on sheet 26.7 x 18.3 cm.
