Summary:Centrefold of programme features the list of the names of those in the choir (by soprano, alto, tenor and bass); underneath this is printed an advertisement for Newells, The Blouse House, 63 Grafton Street, Dublin, featuring an illustration of two women wearing dresses under the title "Outsize Frocks for the matron / Exceptionally well made and cut on generous lines". Programme features several other advertisements for Dublin businesses including The Phoenix Park Riding School of Instruction - "Special tuition for ladies and children"; Brown Thomas New Gramophone Audition Rooms, Grafton Street, Dublin; J.J. Gorry & Son, Fine Art Dealers, 16 Upper Ormond Quay, Dublin - "Cultivation of the mind is as necessary as food to the body"; Miss Eveline Burchill School of Dancing, 122a St. Stephen's Green - "All the newest steps in slowest fox-trot, quick step and Charleston Waltz Blue..." and two pages of advertisements (one printed inside the programme, another printed on the back page) for McCullough's [suppliers of musical instruments, pianos and gramophones] 56 Dawson Street, Dublin. With a section entitled "Analytical Notes" on the "Messiah" by Handel by Harold R. White, (1872-1943), a composer [amongst his works was the opera (1924) ‘Seán the Post’ and choral (1930) ‘Hymn to St. Patrick at Tara”], founder of the Clef Club (a choral association) and the music critic and concert reviewer of ‘The Irish Independent’ from the 1920’s until his death in 1943. James McNeill (1869 - 1938) served as first High Commissioner to London and second Governor-General of the Irish Free State (following the retirement of Timothy Healy, (1855-1931) in January 1928).
