Summary:Programme (featuring decorative interlace pattern at top and bottom of recto). The Irish Radio Orchestra leader was Miss Terry O'Connor with guest conductor Constant Lambert. Centrefold features a programme commentary by Harold R. White, (1872-1943), a composer [amongst his works was the opera (1924) ‘Seán the Post’ and choral (1930) ‘Hymn to St. Patrick at Tara”], founder of the Clef Club (a choral association) and the music critic and concert reviewer of ‘The Irish Independent’ from the 1920’s until his death in 1943. At bottom of [p.3] is printed “Next Season's Concerts / Provisional Dates / Thursdays - 14th October; 28th October; 11th November; 25th November; 9th December 1943” [.] Full page advertisement on back page of leaflet for Pigott and Co. Ltd., 112 Grafton Street, Dublin - “Why not a Symphony Concert in your own home? The possession of a gramophone - or a radio-gram - and a carefully collected library of records, places the world’s most famous orchestras and artists at your command.
