Summary: | Poster advertising a talk by the American radical feminist philosopher, academic and theologian Mary Daly (1928-2010) entitled 'Feminism - a spiritual revolution' taking place in Liberty Hall, Dublin on Wednesday 13 June 1894 as part of the first International Feminist Book Fair 1984. The poster features an image of a young punk woman (as though printed on the cover of a book, with the first page about to be turned over; a small map of Ireland is revealed underneath). Printed at left of the sheet the young woman is identified as 'Sandra, Fruit & Vegetable Trader in Camden Street Market, Dublin'. Printed on poster alongside this is: 'Concept & Photo. Amelia Stein Artwork Suzanne Linde'. |
