Summary:Black and white photomechanical print reproducing an original portrait of writer Seán Ó Ríordáin by the artist Sean O'Sullivan R.H.A, signed and dated November 1951 by the artist in the original artwork that was reproduced for inclusion in a 1953 calendar entitled 'Dáréag Scríbhneoirí Gaeilge' 1953, issued by Sáirséal agus Dill. Head and shoulders, looking to front, with facsimile copy of Ó Ríordáin's signature lower left of sheet. Pasted on verso underneath his name is the title 'Eireaball Spideoige', published in 1952. Sáirséal agus Dill was founded in 1945 by Seán Sairséal Ó hÉigeartaigh [son of P.S. O'Hegarty] and his wife Bríd Ní Mhaoileoin - they published Máirtín Ó Cadhain’s 'Cré na Cille' in 1949.
