Notes: | The Galtymore was a famous Irish ballroom of romance in Cricklewood, London. It closed down in May 2008, after fifty six years as a popular dancing and entertainment venue among Irish exiles in London. It was the place to go for Irish emigrants who had made their way to London in search of work. Donal A. Buckley is a Cork based fictional short story writer with numerous publications in the Irish Examiner / Evening Echo Christmas Holly Bough and Ireland's Own Magazine. He was highly commended in the 2013 edition of Original Writing for his short story "Mending Fences" and in Ireland's Own Anthology of Winning Irish Short Stories 2016 for his short story "The Kerry Set."
