Summary:O'Sullivan writes how Rev. Hickey was angry that the red flag was hoisted in the town prior to the Archbishop of Cashel's visit, and that the Rev. claimed "the Archbishop would salute the Union Jack before the Red Flag". O'Sullivan asks O'Brien to write a letter to the local newspaper "as the workers of Ballingarry resent this very much and take it as a grave insult".
