Summary: | A bible belonging to the Lord Lucius Inchiquin, containing letters, religious cards and pressed flowers. Inserted here is are two photographs: Lady Ethel Inchiquin and three of her children, dated 1902, and an undated photograph of Lord Inchiquin. Also inserted is are two letters, one to "my darling Sonnie (Lord Inchiquin?)" from "Mother", and one to Lady Inchiquin from Dorothy K[...]. There is a also note, with a pressed flower inside, reading "To dear Mummie from Griselda and Baby (Helga)", as well as a religious card from Lady Inchiquin (to Lord Inchiquin) at Christmas 1905, and a manuscript verse beginning, "Where did you come from, baby dear?". Endorsed on the flyleaf: "Lucius with love and trust from Ethel, Jan. 14th 1896." |
