Summary:Three journals of Constance Leslie which have been marked Books 1, 2 and 3. Book one covers the period ca. 1873-1888 and contains notes and transcribed letters from various correspondents including Lady Charles Beresford, the Bishop of Derry, Ouida, Lady Waterford, Godfrey Webb and others. Book Two covers the period ca. 1867-1888 and contains notes and transcribed letters from various correspondents including Lord George Hamilton, Lord Lytton, Charlotte Spencer, Lady Waterford, Godfrey Webb and others. Some of the letters concern the British and Irish political situation such as the resignation of Sir Randolph Churchill while others concern social events such as Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Book three contains transcribed notes from old journals/diaries ca. 1870.
