Summary:Handbill refers to a meeting that will be held to welcome Douglas Hyde, President of the Gaelic League in Ireland, to Washington D.C. in 1905. First lines read: "The undersigned earnestly request to be present at a meeting to be held in Odd Fellow's Temple, Room 6 B, on THURSDAY, the 16th inst., [November 1905] at 8 P.M. The object of the meeting is to arrange a fitting welcome to our illustrious countryman, DOUGLAS HYDE, L.L.D., President of the Gaelic League in Ireland, who will arrive in this country in a few days". Leaflet signed by "Rev. Cornelius Gillespie, S.J., Rev. Gerald P. Coghlan, Rev. Walter Gough, Rev. H.F. White, C. M., Rev. W.M. A. McLoughlin, Rev. Luke V.
