The grammar is followed by a treatise on metrics (p. 203-386 of the facsimile) which is divided into three parts, paged separately. The first part treats of the principles of metrics, the second, of the different kinds of verse, and the third consists of extracts from the poetry of the 16th century, and a poem by the author.
