Summary: | The first third or so of this spool of film was taken inside the Adria nylon factory, Beechmount Aenue, Strabane. Adria is one of the largest manufacturers of hosiery for women in N.Ireland and most of the produce from here is sold under the, "Charnos", label. This factory has been in operation since the mid 60's and has had several expansions since then. Marks and Spencer is the main destination of Adria's produce. Adria is a jewel in the crown here and a frequently heard comment is that if anything should ever happen to Adria the consequences would be unthinkable. |
