Summary:A plaque at the rear of this house reads W. Hill 1827, but in spite of being one of the oldest buildings in Castle Street, it has been completely moderised. In fact the only remaining vestiges of the original would be the walls and roof. If William Hill could return he would be shocked at the changes that have taken place but he would be even more shocked at the prices on the posters as well as the variety of goods on offer; Daz Automatic, Punjana Tea Bags Fabric Conditioner, Heinz Soup,Crinkle Cut Beetroot, Rice Crispies,John West Tuna,Jessie Dog Food and Crispy Chicken.,
