Hogan/ 56, Henry S[t.]/ DUBLIN" embossed on it, lower right) of Field Marshal John Denton Pinkstone French, (who was appointed British Viceroy, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland and Supreme Commander of the British Army in Ireland in May 1918. He was the second-last Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, the last being Edmund Bernard FitzAlan-Howard, 1st Viscount FitzAlan of Derwent who was appointed on 27 April 1921. The post was abolished in 1922).
