Summary:Handbill encouraging people to vote for the Sinn Féin candidate Constance Markiewicz in the 1918 General Election. It gives an account of an "...extract from the Letter of an Irish Priest" who met Countess Markiewicz in Kilmainham Prison during her courtmartial. He gave her rosary beads and she "expressed the greatest pleasure. - We said the Rosary regularly at the College of Surgeons! she said." He remarks upon her "...beautiful character" and that she is "...a woman of great faith and most religious mind. After reading such a testimony by a priest regarding the fitness of Constance de Markievicz to be a representative of St. Patrick's Division when the claim for FREEDOM OF IRELAND is being made before the Council of the Nations of the world, can you hesitate to (in bold) Vote for the Countess".
