Notes: | Patrick Bagnall, Bryan Moore, Patrick Nolan and 4 other men were executed on 19th December 1922 in the Military Detention Barracks, Curragh Camp. It was the biggest single execution carried out in the Civil War. Patrick McNamara and James Lillis were executed on 15th January 1923 in Roscrea and Carlow. Thomas Gibson was executed on 24th February 1923 at Maryborough (Portlaoise) Barracks. Patrick Hogan was executed on 13th March 1923 in Wexford Jail. Physical description: 1 folder (14 items). more |
