| Summary: | "Rev. Charles Brennan was born in Cahereiveen, Co. Kerry on 12/Jan./1875 [sic]. He was the son of Charles Brennan, a National schoolteacher and Bríd Clifford. He attended St. Brendans' College, Killarney and Maynooth. Ordained a priest in 1898, he spent 9 years as a Professor in St. Bredans' College, Killarney. He was one of the founders of the Killarney Branch of Conradh na Gaeilge. He served as a priest in Tralee, Castletownbere, Milstreet and was Parish Priest of Dromtariffe, Co. Cork. He died on 17/Jul/1937 [sic]. |
