Summary:Text on sheet engraved within a lozenge shape, around which is engraved "Ladies & Gentlemen's Hats of the best Quality of every kind" and "Merchants and other Account Books ruled and bound in the most complete manner". This is framed by an engraved a egg and dart mould pattern border, while above this the words "History, Philosophy, Poetry, Miscellany" are engraved on sheet and at foot of sheet is engraved the words "Divinity, Law, Arts & Sciences". See entry for Peter Moore, p. 417 of 'A Dictionary of Members of the Dublin Book Trade 1550-1800' by Mary Pollard, published by the Bibliographical Society, 2000, which states Moore operated from a premises on Grafton St. as a bookseller from 1792 to 1807 (and as a hatter from 1796); he died in 1808.

Accompanied by a small engraved booksellers label, 3.8 x 3.8 cm., [from ca. 1791 - see entry for Peter Moore, p. 417, Pollard] signed within plate "G. Gonne sculpsit", which would have been pasted onto the front papers or end papers of a volume sold by Peter Moore, that reads: "Sold by / Peter Moore / Bookseller / and / Stationer / 100 Grafton Street / opposite Nassau Street / Dublin" and encircling this the following words are engraved "History. Philosophy. Poetry. Miscellany. Divinity. Law. Arts & Sciences", while the following words are engraved (in the shape of a lozenge on the sheet) "Every New Book, Play and Pamphlet. Elegant and Fashionable Pocket Books [.] Merchants and other Account Books ruled and bound in the most complete manner".
