On verso of card is an illustration of the verso and recto of the prize medal "Awarded to Bain, McNicol, & Young, for their improved Wire Netting, with Interwoven Twisted Strands, by the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, at their Metting in August 1859". Printed inside of card is a "...wholesale price list of strongest improved premium wire netting, for flower gardens, young plantations, pleasure grounds, pheasantries, duck decoys, avaries, dog kennels, lathing for fire proof buildings; skating, curling, and fish ponds; window guards, trainers for creeping plants, vineries, &c. & c."; "Prize wire netting for portable sheep fences...Strong hare and rabbit-proof guards".
