Written in manuscript hand in red ink on sheet is '£5.-0-0' and at top right of sheet in faded iron gall ink "518". Enteries for James Farrelly, grocer, tea, wine and spirit merchant are present in serveral Dublin directories and almanacks spanning the period 1842 to 1862 at various addresses - in 1842 his business is listed in Slater's National Commercial Directory of Ireland as being located on 34 Edward St. and 28 Gamble St., Dublin.
