Summary:Christmas postcard featuring the image of a man [an Irish Santa Claus/Father Christmas?] wearing a kilt of dark green fabric and sporran, over which he wears a green coloured military jacket with gold epaulettes. He wears a beret of green coloured fabric, has a long white beard and carries a bag of toys on his back (a toy horse, several dolls, including one wearing military uniform, holding a gun while one a toy house has an Irish flag attached to one of the eaves of the roof). An Irish wolfhound stands to his right while the image is framed by decorative zoomorphic interlace designs. Underneath in Cló Gaelach is printed "Nodlaig geal duit" ["Have a bright (i.e. pleasant) Christmas"]. Verso of card blank. Printed on verso of card in black ink is: "Fergus O'Connor Dublin. - Publisher to the Trade".
