Summary:Illustrated programme featuring a lithographic image of Dan Lowrey's 'Star' Music Hall on front and on pages two and three detailing performances for the week ending 24 September 1881. Amongst the acts performing were The Two Pats, 'Dezello, the extraordinary Juggler and Slack-wire Walker', 'Harman & Elston, the inimitable Christy Minstrels of the Music Halls...'; Mr. Charles Waterfield, The Great London Comique'; 'Miss Stella De Vere, the original continental comedy princess from the principal Metropolitan Music Halls'; 'Hindes Troupe, 3 in number, who will nightly appear in Burlesque Sketches introducing Topical and Comic Songs...'; Miss Nelly Maguire, 'dashing Serio-Comic and dancer'. The General Manager was Mr. D. Lowrey, Junior and the Musical Director was Mr. W.H. Lowrey. 'Programme price one penny'. Featuring advertisements for future performances - 'September 26th [1881] Nat Emmett and Performing Goats' and for other businesses in Dublin such as restaurants, hairdressers and hatters. On page [3] is printed the lyrics of a song entitled 'The Riches of Ireland' by J. Kearney and in he column adjacent to this is printed the lyrics to 'Hurrah For The Flag With The Harp On The Green' by John Jolly Nash, (a nationalist song which cites Thomas Moore, Robert Emmett and Daniel O'Connell).
