Summary: | Copy of payment received by Alfred Manning, 102 & 103 Grafton Street, Dublin to a Mrs. Blackhall for a velvet coat purchased on 16 October 1871, a black silk costume, black silk pellise and a bow for a dress on dates in May 1872 and a dress trimmed with voilet satin on 23 April 1873; she was charged 6% interest on payment in subsequent years (1874 and 1875). Illustration on left hand-side of sheet depicts the premises of Manning on Grafton St.. The company also imported foreign silk shawls, fancy dresses, embroideries, flowers, fans, laces, furs, & fancy goods as well as family mourning.
