He wears a very short green tartan kilt, a sporran, a headress with black and white plumes with a red and white pattern that is repeated in the stockings that he wears. He wears black pumps with buckles. In the left background is an army encampment where three tents have been erected and two soldiers of his regiment, one seated another standing and seen from behind are in conversation.
