This final's eight goals is the most scored in a final, a record shared with the 1977 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final match. Ballad to be sung to the air of "Come back Paddy Reilly to Ballyjamesduff". First lines are - "The All-Ireland final has ended they say, / But I have some lines on it still, / 'Tis discussed bt the groups on the ridge at Finea / And 'tis past the half-way towards Coothill [sic, Cootehill, Co. Cavan]...
