Tralee: Churchill Press' - "The sketched details in pencil indicate its' adaption for a recess with pilasters and architrave. Almost identical to the front drawing room at No. 20 North Great George's Street. Also very similar to examples at No. 44 Mountjoy Square and No. 5 Great Denmark Street (both demolished)". Written on recto at lower right of sheet: 'Q I LXXI [71] 55 / Killeen House / CPC [Constatine Peter Curran]'. Constatine Curran (1880-1972) acquired the Stapleton drawings for the Friends of the National Collections who donated them to the NLI in 1940.
