Almost identical to the front drawing room at No. 20 North Great George's Street. Also very similar to examples at No. 44 Mountjoy Square and No. 5 Great Denmark Street (both demolished)". Written on recto at lower right of sheet: 'Q I LXXI [71] 55 / Killeen House / CPC [Constatine Peter Curran]'. Constatine Curran (1880-1972) acquired the Stapleton drawings for the Friends of the National Collections who donated them to the NLI in 1940. |
