Summary:Undated pencil and ink head and shoulders drawing of a woman, in profile, with her dark hair piled high upon her head in pompadour style by Edward Thomas Kent (1881-1916), better known as Éamonn Ceannt. This image is very similar in appearance to the woman featured in an image within a sketchbook owned by Eamonn Ceannt with artworks by him at NLI call number MS 13,069/55 which is signed and dated 1908 and entitled "Muriel after C.D. Gibson" [possibly Muriel Enid Gifford, (1885-1917)? who met Thomas MacDonagh in St. Enda’s in 1908] and which is clearly influenced by the style of American artist Charles Dana Gibson, (1867-1844) and his 'Gibson Girl' images]. That drawing is similar to an image of a woman printed on a postcard present at the beginning of Ceannt’s sketchbook at MS 13,069/55 entitled 'Norah' [the postcard is printed in Saxony and published by James Henderson & Sons, London as part of a series entitled "Pictorical Comedy" postcards].
