Notice. Tullamore Union. Tullamore Dispensary District notice, consisting of the Electoral Divisions of Ballycommon, Cappincur, Silverbrook, Tinnycross and Tullamore. Dispensary situate at Tullamore. Times of attendance of the Medical Officer at the Dispensary, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 10 to 12 o'clock. Tickets for Medical Relief on attendance of the party at the Dispensary must be presented at the Dispensary within the hours on the days here named. Medical Officer: Dr. J. Ridley, of Tullamore. Visiting Tickets for the attendance of the Medical Officer at the patient's home, may be presented to the Medical Officer, either at the Dispensary or at his residence; but if presented at his residence, they should be presented before 10 o'clock in the morning, in order to insure with more certainty his attendance on the same day where required. The Committee of Management of the Dispensary District meet at the Dispensary situate at Tullamore, on the first Thursday in each Month. The following are the persons authorized to issue Tickets for Medical Relief in the above District [the names of twenty-seven gentlemen are printed on sheet] Wardens [the names of seven gentlemen are printed on sheet] Relieving Officer: Mr. John Ryan, Kilbeggan. Without a Ticket being presented from one of the above persons, the Medical Officer is not bound to attend or afford Medical Relief to any poor person; but Vaccination is performed without a Ticket being required. Children Vaccinated gratuitously at the Dispensary, on the days of attendance above mentioned. All persons are hereby cautioned against the dangerous practice of Inoculation, and poor persons are advised to present their children, (if they have not been already successfully vaccinated) at the Dispensary for Vaccination, as the best preservative against Small-pox...Board-Room, Tullamore Union, April 1st, 1861.
