Bench, Febry 5, 1844"; "High mass & thanksgiving for the Liberator"; "Liberator's House Merrion Square" and "Conciliation Hall". Two banners on either side of the print. Banner on the right bears the text "O'Connell and the other Repeal Martyrs unjustly imprisoned 30th May, 1844". Banner on the left bears the text "O'Connell and the other Repeal Martyrs victoriously liberated 6th September, 1844". Illustration at top of print shows Parliament House, College Green, Dublin with a quote by O'Connell "He who commits a crime gives strength to the enemy".
