Leinster were washed ashore in November 1918. The R.M.S. Leinster was the Kingstown [Dún Laoghaire] to Holyhead mailboat until torpedoed by a German submarine UB-123 on 10 October 1918 when bound for Holyhead. The ship sank four miles east of the Kish Bank Lighthouse. The official death toll was 501 people [but as of October 2018 it is 564].
