Summary:Lehane has agreed to organise the tour of behalf of the Irish Labour Party. Lehane request credentials addressed to the American Federation of Labor and the Socialist Party of the United States to give him the authority to arrange the tour, he provides a draft credential and urges O'Brien to ensure the inclusion of seals and/or headed paper. Lehane also requests literature for circulation and information regarding the standing of socialist and labour parties in Ireland.


The proposed lecture tour did not go ahead. James Larkin arrived in New York independent of the Irish Labour Party in November 1914.
