Summary:Comprises correspondence from Eamon Cooney, leader of the National Union of Vintners and Grocers' Assistants, declaring the need for a new labour organisaition in Ireland due to failures within the current movement; and a reply from "Observer" stating that Cooney and his Union bear some responsibility for those failures. Also includes a printed letter from John O'Neill, per pro the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union, asking a manager at the Freeman's Journal offices to intercede with an employee who is in arrears with the Union.
