Notes: | Forms part of: Poole Whole Plate series Formerly at call number P_WP_0337 Research by our Flickr Commons users established that this photograph was taken at the Artillery Barracks in Waterford's South Ward. As with equivalent regiments like the Donegal Artillery Militia and Dublin Artillery Militia, these Waterford men were part-time reservists who undertook training for 3 or 4 weeks of the year. Most of these militia units were largely disbanded by about 1908.
