Summary:Includes letters to Hamilton from her daughter in law Louisa Hamilton, Augustus FitzGerald, Duke of Leinster, concerning the death of his mother, her cousin Anna M. Chetwood, of Woodside, Cork and her grand daughter Lady Louisa Howard. A letter from William Clements, Earl of Leitrim, may be to Hamilton or her husband Charles and was written during their residency in France ca. 1857. Some letters are undated; with some attached envelopes.


Also included are letters from Hamilton to her daughter Caroline Finlay, of Corkagh House, Dublin, written while she was in France in 1852, her daughter in law Letitia Hamilton, (also written from France, in which she refers to reports of potato blight in Swords, Dublin in 1852) and to her granddaughter Lady Caroline Howard (concerning Donati's Comet).
