Summary: | Reference is made to political unrest in Ireland, expected rebellion and the introduction of martial law in Dublin (July/August 1798). Tighe also refers to her own low spirits. Letters include some verses, possibly composed by Tighe (13 Nov. 1798). A fragment letter, dated 13 December 1798, refers to time spent with Lord Caulfield and their visits to the theatre and opera. |
