Two letters of Robert Patterson,

A letter from Robert Patteson to Sir James [Emerson Tennent?], dated 1st January 1836, concerning a set of elephant's tusks which cannot be located. Another letter from "Miss Andrews" to Patterson, dated 12th June 1860, encloses some worms and asks for identification of the species. Also included is a photocopy of a biographical article from the Belfast Telegraph.

These letters were found inside a copy of Patterson's "Introduction to zoology, for the use of schools" (Belfast: Simms and McIntyre, 1866).
