1825 vignette, including a miniature portrait of the Duke of York and a famous House of Lords speech he made relating to his opposition to Catholic Emancipation - it also has the Duke's obituary notice. Opening line of speech reads: 'I hold in my hand a petition from the Dean and chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. George, Windsor praying that no further concessions may be made to the Roman Catholics ...'. At foot of item 'The Vignette engraved by J. Walker'.
