Summary:Mary Barry O'Delany was a close associate of Maud Gonne MacBride. Included here are three letters between O'Delany and Christopher Friery, solicitor of Gonne MacBride, concerning her welfare during her internment at Holloway Prison in 1918. Also included is a copy letter from Gonne MacBride to Friery asking him to attend to her financial affairs, and a copy letter from O'Delany to various Irish newspapers concerning Gonne MacBride's health and the "indignation" caused by her arrest.
