Subjects include Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, Courtown, Co. Wexford, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, St. Patrick's Bridge, Dublin, Cork city, Muckross Abbey, Killarney, Co. Kerry and the Custom House, Dublin. The journal contains a dedication to "The Right Honourable George Augustus Earl of Pembroke & Montgomery K.G." i.e. the author himself.
