The rental includes information for sixty named tenants on the Dublin estate, who resided on land denominations including Stoneybatter; Prussia Street; Fassaugh Lane; Glasnevin Road; Villa Bank; Paradise Row; Grange Gorman Lane; Merrion Street; and Circular Road. The rental also includes information for eight tenants on the Wicklow estates, with tenants residing on land denominations including Kilmurry, Kilmacanogue; Tinnehinch; part of Kilmurry; part of Steelbawn; and Kilmacanogue. The observations mainly pertain to the leases held by each tenants, giving details of the original grant and terms of renewal. Some individual observations contain more detail. H.S. O'Reilly, now Matthew Begg's lands was recorded with the observation that 'Lease of lives renewable 23rd February 1736. This rent was originally 44.6.1. best leas been reduced in Consequence of the Midland Great Weston Railway having purchased a portion of it'. John Donnelly is also recorded as having his 'former rent was £20 12.6. but is reduced by the Railway having purchased part of it'. Christopher Leslie is noted as 'there is a larger arrear due but that entered is what is likely to be paid. He is a bad tenant must be Ejected'. Richard Lewis' property on Glasnevin Road has an accompanying observation that 'the lease of the holding was evicted for nonpayment of rent. The premises are not let to Fricker and Pitt'. It is suggested that John Fried 'would give a higher rent if a lease [was] granted'. In Grangegorman Lane, Richard Clarke is noted as being in arrears, but that his rent is actually rather high, being upwards of £10 per year. James A. Daly also had a portion of his holding removed for 'the penitentiary'.
