Summary: | Handbill announcing prohibitions on the import of British-made margarine after may 26th, 1921 - this was signed off on by Ernest Blythe who was then Minister for Trade. 'Every loyal citizen of the Republic is expected to give active support to the Government in making this order absolute'. Note at bottom of handbill lists goods that have been prohibited by under the first two prohibition orders - 'Binders, mowing machines, horse rakes, ploughs, swathe turners, hay trolleys, harrows, corn drills, root cutters as from March 31st, 1921' and 'British biscuits, boot polishes and soap from May 14th, 1921'. |
