Summary: | Handbill refers to a meeting that will be held to welcome Douglas Hyde, President of the Gaelic League in Ireland, to Washington D.C. in 1905. First lines read: "The undersigned earnestly request to be present at a meeting to be held in Odd Fellow's Temple, Room 6 B, on THURSDAY, the 16th inst., [November 1905] at 8 P.M. The object of the meeting is to arrange a fitting welcome to our illustrious countryman, DOUGLAS HYDE, L.L.D., President of the Gaelic League in Ireland, who will arrive in this country in a few days".
