Summary: | Leaflet announcing the unveiling of a memorial cross for three members of Fianna Eireann, Edwin Hughes who was 17 and Joseph Rogers and Brendan Houlihan who were both 16. They had been arrested for hanging Republican posters on the street and were taken in for interrogation. Their bodies were found shot dead in Clondalkin the following day on October 7 1922. The celtic cross [iIlustrated on the cover] was unveiled to the 'Memory of the three boy martyrs' on October 3, 1926. |
