Text reads: 'Whereas we have reason to believe that an attempt will be made to hold a meeting of persons at or in the neighbourhood of Granagh Castle, Granagh Knock, Tinlough, Ballynarogery, Granagh Ferry, Newtown, Ballygriffin, Granagh, and Dunbrin, in the Parish of Kimacow, Barony of Iverk, and County of Kilkenny, for the purpose of obstructing by intimidation and threats of violence the execution of certain writs about to be executed by the Sheriff of the County of Kilkenny in the discharge of his duty as such Sheriff...And we do warn all persons whomsoever at their peril to refrain from so assembling...given at Her Majesty's Castle of Dublin, this twentieth day of February, 1882. by His Excellency's Command, T.H.
