Issued in 31 livraisons of 6 plates each with text, but the text for the last 6 plates is so generally lacking that it has been considered non-existant. Livraisons 1-20 were published 1799-1802; 21-28, 1803. According to Pritzel, G. A. Thesaurus literaturae botanicae, livr. 29-31 were issued 1828-29; Lasègne, Antoine, in Annales des sciences naturelles; botanique, quotes livr. 29-30 as being published in 1832. cf. notes in Bureau of plant industry, Dept. of agriculture. Fasc. 1-20 form vol. I., containing 120 pls. with text, and with title, preface and index. Vol. II. comprises fasc. 21-28, plates 121-159 with text, but without title and index. The 3 fasc. 29-31, comprising plates 160-185 were publ. by Garnery in 1828 and 1829, but they are to be found in very few copies of the work. Fasc. 1-20 form vol.
